If you’ve seen the show The Fall (2013), you probably remember this moment: Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson) and Dr. Tanya Reed Smith (Archie Panjabi) sharing a kiss in the middle of a restaurant.
It happens right in front of a man who has just started talking to Tanya—so Stella takes matters into her own hands.
But it doesn’t stop there. Later, Stella invites Tanya back to her hotel room, making it clear she’s interested. Tanya hesitates before ultimately deciding to leave—she’s married with two children.
Unfortunately, the show never explores their dynamic further, which is a shame because the chemistry was undeniable. Still, it’s a rare and memorable sapphic moment, even if it leaves us wondering what could have been. 🤔💖
